Access PA 

Search a statewide database of library materials. If you find an item you would like to borrow, please see a member of the library staff and we will order the item for you through interlibrary loan. This service is free to students!

Academic OneFile

Academic Search Main Edition

AP Newsroom

This database captures the greatest events in history and brings them to life with photographs, audio sound bites, graphics, and text. CultureGrams is a searchable database containing concise, reliable, and up-to-date cultural information on more than 200 countries, all 13 Canadian provinces and territories, and each U.S. state. Discovery Education is a high-quality digital video on demand library that provides thousands of full videos, images, clip art, and other resources.

Environmental Studies

This is the go-to resource for research in environment and sustainability studies. Find news, background information, video, commentaries, primary source documents, and statistics in relevant topic areas such as energy systems, healthcare, food, climate change, and more.

ePoint Plus

Gale in Context: High School

Gale in Context: High School is a multi-disciplinary database that covers a wide variety of topics on all different subject matters. This database contains newspaper, magazine, and journal articles as well as articles from reference books and video/audio materials. This is a great place to start for almost any research project! Gale eBooks

Gale eBooks (formerly known as Gale Virtual Reference Library-GVRL) provides students access to trustworthy e-books on selected topics. Gale Power Search is a useful tool that searches all of the Gale Databases and e-books that we have at L-S. This general-interest periodical resource offering more than 15,000 titles with more than 8,800 in full text. The collection is also supplemented by reference, newspaper, and audio content. Power Library @ Home

Want to use a Power Library database off-campus? No problem! Home access to Power Library is available through the Library System of Lancaster County to library cardholders. Just enter your library barcode number from your library card, and then select Power Library from the list of available resources. Don't have a public library card? No problem! Just go to the Power Library website and register for online access to the Power Library database.

Salem Online

This online resource contains eBooks on topics relating to Health (general medical guide, addictions, psychology), History (Renaissance, 1920s), Social Issues (privacy rights), and Literature (critical insights and essays on selected works and authors studied in L-S Language Arts classes). Science Reference Center

This database contains full text for hundreds of science encyclopedias, reference books, periodicals, and other reliable sources.
