Citation Help

Need assistance in writing citations for research or projects? Check out the following links for assistance:

  • OWL (Online Writing Lab) at Perdue University - This site is a fantastic resource if you have style, formatting or citation questions. Note: The menu is on the left side of the page.
  • HACC Library-Citing Sources - Are you enrolled in a Harrisburg Area Community College class at L-S? If so, you may find this citation guide created by the HACC Library useful.
  • EasyBib - EasyBib is an online tool that you can use to help you build and generate your citations. Remember - you need to enter accurate information about your source and then check what EasyBib generates to make sure the citations are correct!

Still have questions?
Check with your Language Arts teacher or librarian.
You may wish to consult the MLA Handbook, 9th edition, which is available at the L-S Media Center circulation desk.

Reminder: Most (but not all) courses at L-S require MLA citations. Check with your teacher about which citation style you should use.
