Students Advance to PMEA Festivals
L-S High School students continue to excel in PMEA music competitions, with four advancing to the regional level in chorus and the .first-ever participant in the PMEA District 7 Modern Band festival.

Congratulations to the four LSHS vocalists who advanced to this year's regional chorus. Sophomore Ellie Rhinier, junior Kole Lawrence, and seniors Lana Dyer and Katherine Helm traveled to Cumberland Valley HS for the Region V Chorus Festival from February 23-25. There, they added their voices to a select 15-county ensemble.
PMEA District 7 Modern Band Festival
The L-S music department is thrilled to announce the first-ever PMEA Modern Band participant! Sophomore Carson Zook auditioned recently and placed first among all bass players in the eight-county district. He will attend the PMEA Modern Band Festival at Spring Grove High School on April 14-15. Way to go, Carson!
