Lampeter-Strasburg High School teachers selected a student from each grade level to recognize for their achievements at school. Congratulations to Brynn Campbell, Justin Gouger, Adriana Cedeño, and Reese Hudler

Pioneer Superlatives

Brynn Campbell 

Brynn is a junior and the daughter of Marjo and John Campbell of Lancaster. The English department nominated her as a shining star in her classes. Teachers report that she gives nothing less than excellence in every task, pouring herself into writing assignments because she values the weight of her words and the power of her voice. Brynn is involved in plenty of activities outside the classroom, including the Pioneer Interact Club, Link Crew, National Honor Society, and Model United Nations. She volunteers in the community and enjoys spending time reading, gaming, exercising, painting, and creating pottery. Brynn’s post-graduate sights are currently set on becoming an orthodontist. 

Justin Gouger

Justin is a senior and the son of Tamera and Brian Gouger of Lancaster. The practical arts department nominated him as a leader who faces every task with the intention of doing his best, serving as a model of how to work hard and remain consistent in his responsibilities. Justin plays on the varsity boys' soccer and tennis teams and is a member of the marching band, concert band, jazz band, full orchestra, National Honor Society, Ski and Snowboard Club, and the High School Heroes mentoring program. He has coached for Lampeter-Strasburg Youth Soccer and enjoys playing soccer, tennis, and frisbee golf, skiing, and spending time outdoors. Justin plans to attend Drexel University to pursue a career in architecture. 

Students of the Month

Adriana Cedeño

Adriana is a sophomore and the daughter of David and Yadira Cedeño of Lancaster. Several departments nominated her for putting in extra effort and making huge strides in the classroom. Adriana is active at LSHS, participating in the Pioneer Interact Club, yearbook club, mock trial, and the varsity girls’ lacrosse team. Lacrosse is a big part of Adriana’s life, and she plays for a club team plus participates in lacrosse-related activities throughout the year. She plans to attend college to study business or law and is interested in potentially pursuing a career in real estate after completing her studies. 

Reese Hudler

Reese is a freshman and the son of Gregory Hudler and Melissa Hudler of Strasburg. Several departments nominated him as an active class participant who works hard and is supportive of his peers. Reese spends time outside of school fishing, hunting, and playing basketball and is planning a career in the music industry after graduation. 

Board Recognition

Pioneer Superlatives Brynn Campell and Justin Gouger attended the February 5 meeting of the L-S Board of School Directors. Board member Andrew Welk presented their certificates of recognition.
