2023 Prom Court Announced

Congratulations to Prom King Ricky Gibson and Prom Queen Rowan Kimmel!

The 2023 Prom Court was selected by LSHS teachers, and the king and queen was be chosen by the student body. The king and queen were announced during the LSHS Junior/Senior Prom on Saturday, May 6, at the Eden Resort.

Prom Queen Candidates

Angelia Bixler is the president of Cultures Club and a member of the Spring Musical and Fall Play casts, chorus, Tri-M Music Honor Society, High School Heroes Program, and Link Crew. She plans to move to Austin, Texas, after graduation to pursue a career in tech and quality assurance. 

Elly Bruner is the Senior Class Secretary, a photographer for the junior high track team, and a member of the color guard, Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS), the Fall Play and Spring Musical casts, Varsity Club, Link Crew, Interact Club, High School Heroes, LS Thespian Society, and the varsity track & field team. She plans to attend Grove City College to study elementary and middle education, specializing in English. She will also be in Grove City’s marching band and compete on their track team.

Lana Dyer is the president of concert choir and Drama Club, the vice president of Tri-M Music Honor Society, and a member of concert band, marching band, jazz band, Madrigals, full orchestra, National Honor Society (NHS), Link Crew, High School Heroes, and the Fall Play and Spring Musical casts. She was the 2022 West Lampeter Township Fair Queen Alternate and has participated in several county, district, and regional PMEA choral festivals. Lana plans to attend Gettysburg College to study music education.  

Tori Heiserman is a member of the Mini-THON committee, Varsity Club, Interact Club, Ski & Snowboard Club, and the varsity field hockey and track & field teams. She plans to attend York College of Pennsylvania to study nursing and play field hockey. 

Rowan Kimmel is the president of the Asian Cultures Club, a Varsity Club officer, and a member of the Inter-Club Council, Interact Club, and the varsity girls lacrosse, tennis, and field hockey teams. She plans to attend the US Naval Academy to pursue a STEM major and play lacrosse. 

Marissa Puleo is a member of the Varsity Club, Interact Club, Ski & Snowboard Club, Link Crew, Mini-THON committee, and the varsity girls soccer team. She plans to attend Elizabethtown College to study early childhood education. 

Ally Raub is a member of NHS, Varsity Club, Interact Club, High School Heroes, and the varsity field hockey and softball teams. She plans to attend Lock Haven University to study elementary education and play softball. 

Maggie Swarr is the Senior Class President, vice president of the Model UN, FCS, and student council, Varsity Club treasurer, Mini-THON chairperson, the senior class school board rep, and a member of the Inter-Club Council, High School Heroes, Inter-Club Council, NHS, and a member of the varsity field hockey, basketball (9-11), winter track, and track & field teams. She plans to attend Belmont University to study architecture and continue her track & field career. 

 

Prom King Candidates

Mason Coe is a member of the Ski and Snowboard Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and the varsity baseball team. He plans to attend Penn State University to study engineering.

Hunter Hildenbrand is a member of the varsity football and basketball teams. He plans to attend Shippensburg University to play football and pursue entrepreneurship.

Ricky Gibson is a member of Student Council, FCS, FCA, NHS, and the varsity cross country and track & field teams. He plans to continue his studies at the Lancaster Career and Technology Center in the commercial arts program.

Myles McQueen is a member of the Model UN, Ski and Snowboard Club, and the varsity baseball team. He plans to attend Thaddeus Stevens to study mechanical engineering.

Tre Spahr is a member of the Inter-Club Council, Link Crew, Varsity Club, High School Heroes, and the varsity football, wrestling, and lacrosse teams. He plans to attend Millersville University to study accounting and criminology and play football. 

Braden Weese is the president of the Model UN, co-president of Inter-Club Council, a student tutor, and a member of NHS, Link Crew, Mock Trial, and the varsity track & field team. He plans to attend Dickinson College to double major in political science and law & policy. 

Ben Wert is a member of the Inter-Club Council and the varsity basketball team. He plans to attend Messiah College in the fall. 

Justin White is the secretary of NHS, a leader in FCA, and a member of the Pioneer Interact Club and the varsity baseball team. He plans to attend Lebanon Valley College to study physical therapy.
